Your Tennessee Professor May be Packing

Effective July 1, 2016, full-time employees of Tennessee public colleges and universities may lawfully carry a firearm on campus.  The law went into effect without the signature of Gov. Bill Haslam who voiced concerns over certain parts of the bill.  The bill number is SB 2376 and a copy of the full text may be found here.

In related news, Georgia Governor Nathan Deal vetoed a campus carry bill on May 3, 2016.
