Birmingham airport removes illegal ‘no guns’ signs

AL.com reports:

Signs that prohibited firearms outside secured areas at the Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport have been removed at the request of the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, that office said Friday. *** The Montgomery Regional Airport and the library in Montevallo also took the signs down after reviews, according to the Attorney General.

I had the same case not too long ago involving the Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport in Jackson, Miss.  After I sued the City of Jackson and threatened to add the airport authority to the lawsuit the airport did the correct thing by moving the ‘no guns’ signs to the sterile (secure) areas of the airport where they belong.  The signs were previously located on the entrance doors.
