Upcoming speaking engagements

On Friday, July 14, 2017, I will be speaking at a civil rights continuing legal education (CLE) seminar hosted by the University of Mississippi School of Law’s Center for Continuing Legal Education.  My topic is entitled “Police Interactions with Armed Individuals: Protecting Yourself While Protecting Civil Rights” and will cover issues from the perspective of both the law enforcement officer and the armed citizen.  The event will be held at the Ole Miss Law School in Oxford, Mississippi.

The following Friday, July 21, 2017, I will be speaking at a CLE seminar hosted by the National Business Institute (NBI). The title of the CLE is “Guns, Gaming, Marijuana, Opioids and Alcoholic Beverages.”  That sounds a lot better than e-discovery, doesn’t it?  The seminar will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Jackson Airport/Pearl located at 415 Riverwind Drive, Pearl, MS 39208.  I will be speaking at 11:30 on Mississippi Gun Laws and again at 2:45 on the important topic of substance abuse and mental health in the legal field.  The program page is located here.
